Det verkar som att Hilda arbetat i Galeton (eftersom hon hälsar till fler än till Gustaf), men har flyttat vidare västerut till Coeur d'Alene i Idaho.

It seems that Hilda used to work in Galeton (as she is sending greetings not only to Gustaf but to others there as well), but has moved on west to Coeur d'Alene in Idaho.

* Coeur d'Alene ligger vid en sjö med samma namn i Idaho. Namnet ska syfta på en en stam av urbefolkningen som levde i dessa trakter. Ett fort grundlades där 1878, och platsen växte till en stad när guld och silver upptäcktes i regionen, och järnvägen också drogs dit 1883. Malm från gruvdistriktet fraktades med ångbåt nedför flodern och lastades över till järnvägen. I slutet av 1800-talet upptäcktes också ett speciellt slag av tall där som gav upphov till en 'boom' i virkesindustrin.

* Coeur d'Alene is situated on the north shore of a lake by the same name in Idaho. The city was named after a tribe of Native Americans who lived along the rivers and lakes of the region. A fort was built there in 1878. Then miners and prospectors came there when gold and silver deposits were found in what would become the Silver Valley, and after the Northern Pacific Railroad reached the town in 1883. Ore from the mining district was ferried and transferred to the rail lines from steamboats that travelled down the Coeur d'Alene River. In the late 19th century a discovery of higly prized white pine in the forests of northern Idaho also resulted in a timber boom.
