Coudersport is a borough in Potter county, Pennsylvania. It lies in a valley on the Allegheny River and "was a boom town when the lumber industry cut the white pine and hemlock forests in the county". [Wikipedia]

This is a very elegant postcard. Hard to see from the scanned image, but the dress and the bow on hat are actually in real silk [?] fabric, soft to the touch! Card made in Germany.

I can't read the date on the postmark. (Someone else before me has suggested 'april?' in pencil; but it looks like a Valentine's card to me.)
